Welcome to Hope Christian Church!
Hope Christian Church was founded in April 1993 by a group of families who wanted to help develop a Christ-centered, evangelical church in Winchester. The initial goals of the church were to help people to go deeper with Christ and to equip them to live for Him in a way that would have an influence for Christ in their community and around the world.
In many ways these goals survive to this day. Our desire is to Reach Up to glorify God, Reach In to build the community of believers that constitute Hope Church and Reach Out with the love of Christ to those who do not know Jesus. These simple desires are contained within our mission statement: “to glorify God by developing a community of committed disciples of Jesus Christ which has an impact for Christ locally and around the world.”
At Hope, we believe that all of us are “works-in-progress,” moving toward maturity in Christ and service for Him. The Lord loves each of us so much that He accepts us just as we are, but at the same time, He loves each of us too much to leave us where we are. Since that is the case, we want to create an environment where we love and accept each other as we are, but also help each other to grow to be the people God wants us to be. Our desire is to bring people into a relationship with Christ – to become one of his followers or committed disciples. Committed disciples are those who have a mature personal walk with the Lord which leads them to intentionally help others become disciples, use their gifts to build the body of Christ, and actively minister to others.
Toward those ends, we place special emphasis on providing excellence in Worship, Prayer, Teaching, Community and Outreach. Each of these aspects of church life is foundational to the pursuit of our mission and drives the activities of the church week in and week out.

Ministries, and our contact information. Our prayer is that the Lord will use this information along with your interactions with members of our church family to help you evaluate whether Hope Christian Church is the place where He wants you to grow and serve.
